new pupils: pay for 10 and get next lesson free
Absolute beginners

Never driven before?
Then the 4 for £44 beginner course is ideal for you.
It is very structured and is not suitable for pupils who have already done some driving.

The course:

Eyesight and document checks
Cockpit drill
Car controls
Moving off safely
Stopping safely and under control
Steering
Changing gears
Junctions - turning into roads and emerging from roads
(Depending on progress - roundabouts.)

All pupils learn at different rates, so how far you get will depend on your ability and effort.

The course must be paid for on the first lesson and taken as 2 x 2hr lessons, either in one week or two successive weeks in order to maximise your learning.

4 for £44 means you are getting 4 lessons at around 1/2 price!
Intensive Courses

If you want to do a 'quick pass' or intensive course there will be a reduction in the cost of lessons compared to the usual price. The price will depend on how long the course is designed for. The courses must be paid for on the first lesson, in cash - cheques may not have time to clear in some cases before the course has been completed. See 'Prices' page.
If you have booked a test already let your instructor know when you book the course. If you need to postpone your planned test because you are not ready you don't want to lose your money because you left it too late to change. If you have never driven before, or have only had a few lessons you will probably have little idea of how long it is going to take you to reach a suitable standard.

Block booking

There is a discount if you pay upfront for a series of lessons. Ask at the time of booking for current offers. Or check 'Prices' page.

2" into 1 - Learn with a friend

If you and a friend are starting to learn to drive at the same time, or need to learn about the same aspect of driving, or, perhaps, learn how to do a manoeuvre why not have a joint lesson?
Normally A.V.G lessons are 1 - to - 1 but lessons can be adapted to suit your needs.

How does it work?

You and your friend are picked up together and taught the aspect of driving you are learning that day. Then you take turns practising the driving or manoeuvre. You can learn from each other too. Yes, the time you actually spend behind behind the wheel will be a bit less but then the cost of the lesson will be less too!! e.g. if a normal 1 hour lesson costs £22 you and your friend would pay £15 each - not much more than the cost of 1/2 hour. Ask about the price when you book. You still get the teaching, you get time to practise and time to observe someone else doing it (with tuition while it happens).
Why not get together with a friend then ask your instructor for a 2 into 1 lesson?

Note: This will not be suitable for all the lessons you take. People learn at different rates and if one of you needed extra practice on an area this would have to be arranged separately on the normal hourly rate. (These lessons might be less than an hour if you only need a little extra time - and would be priced accordingly.)

Twice the fun!!
